The week-long exhibition in Glastonbury, turned out to be a great success; we had 78 exhibits and a great number of items for the sales table. Exhibits ranged from a peg-loom throw, through various wall-hangings, woven tapestries and scarves to waistcoats and felted pictures; a good mixture. Several items were sold throughout the week, both from the exhibition and the sales table, and members were on hand each day to demonstrate and provide further information to visitors.
We had visitors from far and wide, coming from London, Northampton, Guernsey and South West Ireland, as well as all points close to home. Judging from the entries in the visitors book, we also had members from many other Guilds visiting us. From the publicity point of view the exhibition was a huge success, and during the week brought the Guild to the attention of many new people.
